Together we make a masterpiece

I found these giant puzzle pieces at Oriental Trading Post and knew I had to use them.  We have been talking about our uniqueness but I also wanted everyone to see how with everyone’s special talents and abilities, that when we work together we become something great.

The girls worked on these for several sessions, making sure they got their puzzle piece done.

If the girls were done, I had icebreaker questions that they could pass around and answer as their peers worked.  Even if they weren’t coloring, everyone was busy.

I admit, I didn’t put them up when they were finished.  In fact it took me a couple of weeks.  But I sure did surprise them when I taped them all together and hung them on a wall in my office.  They love their masterpiece.  Here is one of the finished works.  I had so many, I had to break them into two chunks.  It doesn’t look very big but it’s about 3′ x 6′.

I love how they all look so original, and how cute is the American flag!

I have a few more Lunch Bunch projects to share with you.  I’m really excited about the one we are doing this week.  It will take a while for the mod podge to dry, but when it does, I’ll show you the results.
