I am excited to go to the 5th grade classes soon! I have my tennis balls ready and a great lesson to help them learn why setting goals is so important!
I’m starting the students out by having them reflect on their year and thinking about the upcoming year.
From there we’ll grab the tennis balls and see how making baskets can be a lot like setting goals.

From there, I’ll introduce SMART goals.
I’ll have them practice identifying a SMART goal versus an ordinary goal:
Then, I’ll have them create a goal for themselves.
