Test Taking and Study Skills Bingo

I have been working on study skills with a group of 7th and 8th graders that I meet with weekly.  I look over their homework completion for the week and either reward them with a trip to the snack bar or “yell” at them for not doing their work.  OK, so it’s not really “yelling” but they know I am looking for their best work and nothing less.  We’ve grown to be buddies, and the group of boys often seek me out to pull up their grades and check over their assignments.  I think they like that I spend the 5 minutes to talk about THEM.
